1-Box of tissues

Keep a box of tissues at every place u spend time. In car, at home and office and keep a pack even in your handbag as anytime someone needs to cough , sneeze and wipe hands after eating tissue paper always comes in help.

2-Leave Windows Open in Winter

Leave one or two windows open in winters as fresh air cycle provides continuous evacuation of germs in air from your house and keeps air fresh to inhale.

3-Green Tea and Apple for Breakfast.

Research has found that diet rich in flavonoids ( a group of antioxidents) lower the risk of catching cold by 33%. It is found in green tea, wine ,cocoa and blueberries.

4- Knuckles to Rub Eyes

Knuckles are less contaminated with germs as compared to fingertips and also eyes are the main path for germs . A person usually rubs his eyes 20-50 times a day so one should rub them with his knuckles gently as it is likely to contain less germs.

5-Eat Yogurt Everyday

University of California found that people who eat yogurt everyday catch 25% less cold than those who don’t. Thus eat a container of yogurt everyday to avoid cold and flu.

6-Do the Laundry.

Change towels 3-4 days during cold and wash them in warm water. Change and wash clothes on proper time.

Eating Late Night and its Dangers..

Many of us are in a habit of eating late at night. It is gets late for dinner because of many other activities like swimming , shopping and events. Many people due to may sleeping late or more often skip breakfasts , have light meal at work and after all day tiring activities when they are back home and usually starving they eat a heavy meal and thus the dinner is the heaviest meal of the day. From medical point if view a person is supposed to take a walk or involve in some activity involving muscles but after dinner as many people are tired they prefer laying on couches watching TV and movies and even while watching they prefer snacks. Many people eat well all day long yet have dinner late and eradicating this habit is their biggest challenge.

Eating late at night causes reflux which is the result of stomach spilling acids. It affects the throat, sinus and lungs and has all heartburn symptoms i.e. postnasal drip, sinus and hoarse voice and severe cough. The reflux drugs are also not that much affective. Reflux may result in oesophageal cancer which has increased rapidly since 1970s. Reflux may be also caused due to our diet which may include large consumption of soft drinks, cholesterol, fats and processed foods but the main reason recorded is eating habits and lifestyle.

To avoid this problem we must start having dinner 3 hours before sleeping and have healthy breakfasts and lunches. Its all the lifestyle shift that matters in this case. Besides it also makes you fat 😉

Independence Day 14th August with Pro Student. READ..

Pakistanis celebrate the independence day on 14th August. It is the most important day in the history of Pakistan. On this day our beloved homeland came into being as it was separated from India for the Muslims of Subcontinent. As August begins the celebrations take their pace and continue till 14th of August. Pakistan got freedom on 14th August 1947. When August becomes vendors are seen on roads and even streets selling small flags of Pakistan and badges. The government offices and many other buildings get decorated with LED lights. Many houses are seen with flags of Pakistan. The schools, colleges and universities arrange seminars to remember the efforts of our leaders and fore fathers for freedom.

The celebrations start from firing and parades. Special ceremonies and visits are made on the tombs of Quaid e Azam and Alama Iqbal. Celebrations are also held at the President house .The president and prime minister raise flags at the President and prime minister house and parliament and also deliver speechs.There are fireworks in the capital Islamabad and other cities.Radio stations and TV programs all play national songs. Cultural shows and exhibitions are held to reflect the cultural heritage of the country. Different concerts are held around the country. The whole turns green and white on this day. Roads are flooded with people at 12:00 and remain like that till 12:00 of 15th August.

Besides all these celebrations people also do some illegal and immoral acts like young boys and bikes put horns with extremely irritating and sometimes shrill noise. They over speed and break the traffic rules. They are often involved in other mischievous acts. There are often reported thefts and robberies. People need to know that day of freedom does not mean the freedom of doing illegal acts. Traffic and city police needs to take serious notice on this.

Android Phones –Secure or Not

Phones containing Android operating system are the most used phones in Pakistan and around the globe. In Pakistan except Iphones almost all the phones are Android. It includes Q-mobile, Samsung, Huawei, Nexus and many others. If you are using Android phones and are considering 100% security of privacy, well you might be wrong here.

A phone is the most personal thing and contains a person’s data which sometimes he wants to keep only to himself. With great advancements in technology comes privacy and ease and along with that destruction and ill legal activities are also born. Hacking is also very common these days . A hacker by simply knowing your email ID can hack all the accounts possessed by you and then nothing remains safe, all he has to do is to send you a link and when you put your email and password in it and that is the moment at which the same is being displayed on his computer screen.Either he can simply send you a video link opening which you are hacked.

Android phone can be hacked by a single MMS the hacker will send you. The moment you open the MMS and video in it .The hacker accesses your gallery app and other audio and video apps, as the MMS contains malware and it requires only the user’s phone number. Security expert Joshua Drake, vice president of platform research and exploitation at mobile security firm Zimperium, was the one to discover the exploit.

In case of app like Google Hangouts there is no need to open the message and see the video in order activate hack even because it automatically opens and activates all the attachments in the message and the device is at 0 privacy already.

Once the hack is activated the hacker can enter into gallery app and delete the message containing malicious content leaving no trace of him behind`.

Behind the automatic processing, playback and recording of multimedia files on Android phones is the multimedia playback tool called Stagefrightand it is responsible for the execution of hacking code to be triggered once MMS is received and activated through app likes Hangouts. Every app handling multimedia file makes use of Stagefrightin some way. This is the worst android flaw ever.

Google is trying its best to fix this problem through patching its internal codes. The problem which can cause serious damage to its image.

Haiti- The Land of Black Magic..!

Black Magic is defined as the use of supernatural powers and magic for evil purposes. It has many rituals associated with it like voodoo magic which includes making voodoo dolls and inserting pins in them just to torture and bring bad luck. It is performed on hairs, nails and meat. It is sometimes also assumed to include Satanism means serving the Devil. It is often performed by evil spirits or Jins.

Hispaniola was an island of the Caribbean which was later divided into two Caribbean countries. One of the two was Haiti. Haiti has its background linked to Africa. Haiti has been notorious because of its earthquakes but the earthquakes are not the only reason. History says that they made a pact with devil to free them from the slavery of the French in return they will serve the Devil . They were freed from the French people but are cursed uptil now. Many people believe that these are all rumours but Haiti is still poverty stricken and poor as compared to the other part of Hispaniola , Dominican Republic is well-developed.

Talking about the religion of Haitians , black magic is in their religion. They perform voodoo to communicate with the souls of the dead for life purposes. They believe in one God who they name Bondye who is not reachable so they communicate with the souls of their ancestors. They even preserve the bones of their ancestors and preserve them in shrines. Black magic spells are casted to communicate with their souls for the purpose of wealth, love and other reasons. These souls of ancestors or family members are called Lwa. People who perform voodoo or black magic to communicate with the souls are called Hougoun (male) and Mambo (female). They perform voodoo by making oferrings and other rituals and they also charge for it. They wear special dress for the purpose.

They even perform voodoo with the dead evil souls to cast spells of death and curse . Basically this black magic performed by the Haitians is divided into two categories:

Rada:- Voodoo of the soul of family member or peaceful soul or Lwa.

Petro:- Voodoo of the angry and evil spirit or bad soul or Lwa.

Rada is used for love ,wealth and prosperity while Petro is performed to kill someone or cast a curse or bad luck. As it includes petro and my religion and almost every religion teaches us that one can connect directly with God through praying and also it include Petro which is purely evil I consider Haitian Voodoo as taboo.
